The Record clearance project also known as RCP, as opened my eyes to another side of the criminal justice system. The RCP has numerous dedicated individuals willing to provide the necessary services to individuals with a criminal record. The RCP impacts many citizens’ lives in Santa Clara County. The Record Clearance Project has a great reputation and has been known for providing excellent petitions in court for clients. One may think the criminal justice system is all about punishment but the Record clearance project has opened my eyes to a softer side of the criminal justice system. I am taking JS 140 and I didn’t know what to expect, but I can definitely say I am glad that I am taking the class.

The clients are very thankful for the services the RCP provides. Communities in San Jose and Santa Clara are appreciative of the services that Margaret Stevenson and the students provide. The RCP provides students with the opportunity to do something good in their life and help an individual who is in desperate need of a record clearance. The record clearance project is the only undergraduate program that actually assists with court petitions in the whole country. JS 140 will teach one to act professional in a legal setting and teach one how to use the law to one’s advantage. The stories from clients are very touching and one must want to help individuals better their lives. I have only been associated with the RCP for about a month, but within that month I can honestly say that the RCP offers great services for low income individuals looking to have their convictions expunged. The RCP is a great service and I encourage other students who have a passion for helping individuals better their lives, to join the class and continue to build on the great reputation of the Record Clearance Project.

Aw, this was a really good post. Finding the time and actual effort to make a superb article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get nearly anything done.
