I wish upon a star that no female be raped of her innocence and dignity.

I wish upon a star that females believed in their capabilities and became warriors in order to survive in this gendered world.

I wish upon a star that females unite to empower one another in order to eliminate gender inequality.

I wish upon a star that rape was not undermined by psychological neutralizers like victim blaming.

I wish upon a start there was a way to shatter the glass ceiling that divides male and females in society.

I wish upon a star that important figures in a female’s life would not break her trust but, instead shield her from the dangers of the world.

I wish upon a star that females removed the misconception that she always needs a man in her life.

I wish upon a star that more female role models emerge to inspire the next generation of young girls.

I wish upon a star that all this was reality so I would wish no more . . .
