Professor Bio
Phil Carr retired as a Lieutenant with the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety and have 30 years of public safety service with Sunnyvale DPS and the Mountain View Police Dept. He received his AS from Evergreen Valley College and his BS, MS from San Jose State University and is certified by the Department of Justice as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst completing the required course work at CSU Sacramento in 2000. He currently teaches in the Justice Studies Programs at both Cabrillo College and San Jose State University. Hs most recent law enforcement assignment was as the academy coordinator for the Basic Police Academy at the Southbay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium.
